Collection: ETNA

The pieces in the fire-themed collection convey the sense of volume of flames. The silhouettes that dominate the collection have a chaotic characteristic compared to Bodhita's other collections. Creating the visual identity of the collection with scattered sparks, melting lava, blazing fires, and flickering flames, Bodhita references the mystery of fire. Inspired by the eruption of Mount Etna, the fire-spewing mountain that gives the collection its name, the designs embody the spirit of love and fire.

It describes an endless transformation, being consumed by fire and then instantly reappearing.

Fire is associated with 'love,' which belongs to the soul. In Classical Turkish Literature, where "love" is the most fundamental concept, the lover and the beloved are depicted with fire and a moth. The moth represents the lover, while the fire is love itself. The moth goes to the fire knowing it will be burned. It knows that this is the only way to become one. It is reborn through that love. Fire, which unites body and soul—that is, "love"—is the beginning of everything.
