Each piece produced embraces the past with the spirit of the times.
BRAND STORY
Bodhita, in the Pali language, considered a sacred language, means spiritual enlightenment. The design elements, derived from the interaction of Eastern philosophy—from which it takes its name and inspiration—with Turkish culture and Western civilizations are universal. Through the collections it creates, it embodies stories, legends, and fairy tales, glorifying them with the mastery of local artisans.

LOGO STORY
Bodhita uses the phoenix, a symbol of 'life,' to represent spiritual enlightenment and rebirth. This mythical bird transforms into fire, consumes itself, and is reborn from its own essence.

PRODUCTION PROCESS
It produces its designs, which embody universal values, by hand using local techniques.
The components in the designs are made with gold of varying thicknesses—18 and 24 carat microns—determined by their weight and size;
It coats cast, soldered, and recycled 925 sterling silver and bronze parts. The coating, applied after heat treatment, provides a transparent lacquer finish in every application area, protecting against external impacts and surface deformation.

EACH PIECE BECOMES A SHARED STORY THAT WE CARRY WITHIN OUR BODIES.
SUSTAINABILITY
The search for fair and accurate resources, a complex process, supports the production chain through research, planning, and implementation aimed at sustainable production. Bodhita utilizes recycled precious and semi-precious metals in a sustainable production approach, upholding all ethical values.
It works by protecting. This approach, which subtly reminds us of the importance of a sustainable world, blends the spirit of tomorrow with the spirit of today for the future.

AS A DESIGNER, MY ROLE IS TO BE SUSTAINABLE AND TO VALUE ETHICAL VALUES.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Bodhita was founded in 2018 by its creator, Erge Başak Ünsal, who was born in the same city, Istanbul. Deciding to transform her interest in art, nature, and humanity into pieces that everyone can wear, the designer completes her designs by drawing inspiration from rituals, ceremonies, legends, and myths. All the pieces she tells stories about carry the values of cultures from around the world. She reshapes symbols that carry an intercultural symbolism, whether seen, told, or written.
In the production of her designs, which combine elements taken from nature with naturally occurring gold, silver, bronze, semi-precious and precious stones, she continues to seek out the right sources. As a designer, she values sustainability and ethical values as much as her role in creation and communication.
